Britax Seats on Sale Albeebaby

Okay guys remember I bought the aqua Britax seat for $220 well right now its on sale for $209.99 do you think I should go ahead and get the other one now? they have a DOM of Aug 2008. I have not put the new seat in my truck yet nor has Gael been in it yet............what do you think? Should I just order another one?

Look some of the girl prints are under $200 free shipping/no taxes and I got my seat in 1 week.

It will be the same cover and all but who cares you know lol I wonder if it will fit in my DCP's Xterra? or PT Cruiser

I know for a fact it will fit in the ptcruiser, because my mom has one, and we installed the marathon in there rear facing. The xterra is an SUV, so it most likely does.

Thanks Jennifer glad your mom has a PT Cruiser ;-) what I can do is take my Marathon to DCP's and put it in her Xterra, I am sure it will fit though I guess I should jsut go ahead and order it, after all I will need a total of at least 3 seats

We had one in my car, one in DHs car, and one in my MIL's car- when she lived here. It made sense then, because life was different back then, when it was just Charlize. My MIL took care of her, so they went places in her car, and Luis had a way different schedule back then, so he would take her in his car a lot, and of course my car. Now, it is soooo different. Luis' truck doesnt even have a backseat- MIL doesnt live here anymore, and there are now two carseats in my car. Crazy, huh?!
We bought the first seat in Dec 05- so it should last us until 2011 at least. We bought them, knowing they would last six years!

Yup life changes Jennifer lol they make fun of me at work about carseats, they say "so have you ordered your 20th carseat".......lol and its like I tell them........I barely get to work on time, I don't have time to be swapping carseats every A.M you know.......oh and I totally feel you Jennifer when you talk about the one cab truck.......I want DH to get another vehicle......not the one he wants , but if it comes down to that then so be it........ I just have to say I :heart: carseats lol

I just don't know when to order mine, I guess once we see what Nicholas' length and weight are at his 9 month appt - I'll have a better idea of when he'll be going into it. Then I have the same decisions to make with how many to get and what seat - it's enough to drive me batty thinking about it!

Oh I know Kim, DH says in the meantime I should use my the MA in my truck and let my DCP use the SS1 until he outgrows it.........he is getting very close to outgrowing it though, he is a big boy.

Kim just remember that as long as he has 1 inch of hardshell over his head he is still fine for height, unless he outgrows it by weight first. :-)

I bet he'll outgrow the height first, since his weight seems to have leveled off. He crawled on our scale last week and with clothes and a wet diaper, he weighed 21 lbs but he seems to have shot up with his height lately!

I don't know what to do yet either. I think Logan will make it to 1 year in the Safe Seat. I think I'm going with the Evenflo Triumph LX one for me. I might get the Scenera for DH or my mom's car.

Why does it have to be so hard?

Because there are so many dang options who all claim to be the safest, have the best features, etc making it even more difficult to figure out which one is the best and safest for our LOs...they play on the mommy worry and guilt!
