How do you like the knobs for adjusting the harness on the EFTA? I want to get his seat for my parents, but I want to make sure its something easey and friendly to use........whats your take?

I have mine- have been using it for the past week and so FAR LOVE IT!!! It is VERY easy to adjust etc....esp with our crazy Texas weather and the constant change in layers of clothing....Trevor also seems to be VERYY happy in it!!

Hmm thanks Stacey I will go to the store again and sit him in there and play with the knobs and maybe take my parents and see how they like it, otherwise I might get him another Marathon or a Scenera.........DH really liked the Marathon since we used it this weekend with Gael :-) maybe I willl get my parents the seat for Christmas

I've never used a Marathon so I can't compare....My mom is getting the Scenera for her car but we haven't done that yet...she really doesn't need it YET since we usually use my car....

That's what we have and I love it. I had wanted a Britax but we couldn't afford it. We got an awesome deal on it too, $65. Kyler seems comfy in it and I love that when he had a blowout I could just take the insert off and wash it and not the whole cover.

What is the height limit for this seat? I haven't been able to find it online...

Height is 50 inches

weight 5-50 lbs...35 lbs rear facing

HTH! :yup:

We have had ours for about a month now and love it!!! Esp with our constant changing weather it is VERY easy to adjust!!!

Well DH and I took Nicholas to BRU tonight to try out the different covertible seats. We both had a hard time adjusting this one to fit tight, loosen, etc. I did like the way he fit in it but couldn't get past the fact that it wasn't very user-friendly for something that I can potentially be doing many times/day depending on what we're out doing.

I have one and it is the easiest-to-adjust carseat that I have ever had. :)

We must have been doing something wrong then but we just couldn't get it to work very easily...

Who knows.. maybe the people at the store had screwed it up in the first place..hahah. YKHTG!

That could have been it because it was not easy to adjust at all and Nicholas was getting irritated with us when we were trying to figure it out!

You know Kim I agree I played with that seat at Target and it was kind of tricky on adjusting it, unless they screwed it up at the store like Stacey said, but if I have trouble with it, I figure it would not be a good seat for my parents to have........I can see them calling me already..........A whole bunch of the Britax seats are on sale right now on Albee for $179 not just the girl prints, I want a denim one.......but so far we are still using our infant seat and I don't want it sitting in the closet like my other Marathon as I eat up its life......I am going to wait just a bit longer...... I am actually STILL carrying Gael in his infant seat :yup: I take him in and out every day !! MY ARM is still there lol :yup:

I find that it's much easier to loosen it when they aren't in the car seat and then just tighten it once they're in. My DH had a problem with ours but once you get the hang of it, it's really simple. Just make sure you are pulling the lever on the knob until it clicks and the pull the belt out to loosen.
