I am so beyond myself it isn't even funny. This child is NOW 11 months old and STILL wakes like a newborn. He eats plenty so I can't determine if he is really hungry...trying to ignore him during the night doesn't seem to do much good... Last week one night he slept all night and one night he made it till 6am so I know he can do it. The trick unknown to me is how to get him to do it every night on his own?? I am so frustrated and beyond tired it isn't even funny. The only other thing we haven't tried is completely ignoring him all night...I guess we are going to have to go there next.

I'm sorry Stacey - it sounds like he can do it, since he did twice so maybe ignoring him would work... Good luck - hope something works soon!

I know it doesn't make your situation any better, but Brody is the same way. I just don't let it bother me since he's in my bed and nursing and falls back asleep quickly without me really waking up. I think Brody sleeps worse than a newborn. He's up way more often than every two hours.

It just sucks cause I 'have done everything right' for him to sleep like he should but he doesn't... NONE of my kids have :pout:

Rita- YES you do have it much worse...Trevor is not up that much most nights....but I don't want him sleeping with me so I have never tried that route.

Yeah, its definitely not for everyone, but it works for us. I hope you can get him to sleep better!

Awe Stacey. I am so there with you.
I keep asking his doc for guidance and she is of no help either.
And J is 13 months.

Logan still wakes at night. I don't expect him to sleep all night though. Babies just aren't made for that. I keep telling myself that someday he will sleep.
