so i was thinking of doing a book in rememberence for my granny. dd is named after her (well her middle name). i was really close to her. she died about a year before i got prego with kins. anywho i was thinking of doing a book of her so my kids can see what she looked like and stuff. dd and i talk about her all the time. she knows she's named after her and she said that "great grandma took care of me in heaven first". its cute. anywho so do you think i should do from like when she was younger (if i can get the pics) or just of like when i came into the picture?? how would you do it if you were going to do it?

I've only done pages.. and actually am planning to do another one to frame.. anywho.

I would do a "life story" book on her if you want your kids to know about her. But that's my personal opinion.

I agree a whole life book..Because you can add pictures of you and her in that so it would cover both

I would journal what you want/know . . . . if someone else in your family wants to put their thoughts in it that would be cool too! Might help.

Or maybe a page of just memories you have jotted down? Bullet points, doesn't have to be lengthy . . . or journal about what each picture means to you, or brings to your mind.

Did I help at all or confuse more? LOL!

Ask around. I'm sure someone has heard stories about when she was younger.

I helped one of my friends do one for her father in laws 70th birthday, and she had family members write down stories about him and we typed them up on acid free paper and added them in the scrapbook in the back. Maybe you can ask some of your older family members if they could do the same thing?
