So as I was inviting people to Gael's b-day, I called my cousin to invite him and his wife and kids to the party, well he said they were not going to be able to make it, because they would be at a wake.......he said his wife's relative had just lost their 3 year old in a car accident........I just got chills!
This happened last week, the 3 yr old was riding with his dad and they apparently came accross one of his cousins and because of "playing" around the cousin decides to get in front of the driving dad and tap the brakes........this immediately caused the driving dad to lose control of the vehicle and hit the curb and the car flipped a few times....dad ended up in the hospital and the 3 yr old died. The dad was quite injured and just found out Wednesday his son had passed away the parents are young 25 yrs old each and the 3 yr old was the only child, they are baptizing him Friday, having the wake Saturday and the burial will be Sunday god bless his soul. I asked my cousin if the little boy was in a car seat and he said yes.......as sad as it is and whatever the reasons were, no parent should go thru this........although he was indeed in a carseat a question to ask ourselves is was it installed correctly, was he harnessed in correctly........ this is something that I cannot answer, however just a thought .......although your child is in a carseat........is it properly installed......is the child harnessed correctly..........is he using the right carseat..........
