is that poor carseat still alive! Ok I admit I sit in the girls seats when I tighten them into the car.. always have but my arse fits!

Wrong: bulky jacket and chest clip too low!

And, points not necessary! I'm seriously shocked at how many pictures I can find with bad use of carseats!

LOL Tracy, my how times have changed!

OMG DH nevers remembers to raise the chest strap when he buckles Pres in. I have to get onto him and fix it all the time!

our straps got twisted i freaked!!! i made dh fix them immediately. i always have to fix the kids in the seats. always cussing out dh and my mom on how to buckle correctly.

how do you guys do it when the kids are wearing winter coats?? i know i have a hard time w/that

Put the coat on when we get there, before I take him out of the car - its a pain but I think the only safe way to do it!

I agree Kim, plus I mean they can wear a thin fleece sweater you know and put a blanket over them after they are all buckled in........ some people....... plus even if it is cold out Gael sweats in his carseat so I would also doubt he would even appreciate a big arse coat!

well i prob do it wrong in the winter but its soo blizzardy cold here i coudlnt take them out of their coats

Sharing that one more for the kid in the booster seat! He has the seatbelt UNDER both arms! The kid in the other seat also has aftermarket strap pads which aren't recommended.

Cameron's carseat was only a 3pt harness (Graco) but it still had a chest clip!

I think back then at some point they did not have a chest clip not completly sure but some parents take them off........its so Stupid........why would they assume the kids are not comfy.......Gael has never complained........ and I hate when they lower the freakin chest clip down to the bottom.........its there for a purpose people....... :run2:

Yup they are taking those clips off...........such idiots......I can't find a valid reason why its ok to remove them.............

Nope, they all come with chest clips, even the three point ones, otherwise they would fly out the top in a crash - the parents have to be removing them!

aeriously someone should leave them comments telling them their kids need buckled correctly and ask why the hell they took off the chest clip.
even dd (this was 7 yr ago) has a chest clip but was onyl a 3pt harness

This is japan.. I know some of those places via rin and yui photos. And they dont have the same carseat requirements as we do. Rin and Yui's parents had different carseats when they came to the states to get the babies.. no chest strap.. they couldnt use them here. Hospital wouldnt allow it so we went to babies r us and got some new ones.
