Question about washing CDs?

Mine smell. I bought the soap nuts, but I have a front loader and I'm not sure that I can use those with that. What's the best soap to use? Any suggestions?

I use Purex free and clear. I know some people that just use baking soda and vinegar. If you use detergent, don't use very much.

DiaperSwappers has a huge sticky thread about getting the smell out of diapers. I haven't had to do that yet.
