Why don't people care enough about their children to take the extra few seconds to properly fasten them in?
I don't care if you don't give a shit and don't buckle yourself in you have a say in that - but don't take the chance of life away from your children because you're a lazy SOB.

What blows my mind is that the two adults were buckled in but the kids weren't!! Talk about selfish people - I hope they are charged for that crime!!

Yup I hope they charge them! pair of idiots!! sorry but I think everyone who endangers a child in that manner or in any should have a higher punishment than a ticket. I hate that you never hear any strict laws around here about seatbelts, I cannot tell you the last child I saw correctly in a seat .......or using at least a seatbelt if within the age...........and TRUST me I look at every car with a kid in it..........

Thank God they weren't killed.

When I was younger I knew some of my moms friends kids would always undo the seatbelts once they got going and the parents didn't do anything. I never would have even attempted it. My mom wouldn't start the car until everyone was buckled, it's like second nature for me to bucke up now.
