Wont J sleep. He will be 18 months old on the 4th and still gets up 3-4 times a night sleeping no longer than 2 hours at a stretch.

Mady is not a great sleeper either. But she is only 10 months. Have you had his tonsils and adanoids(sp) checked? My Brennen had troubles sleeping and it was because of those. Once he had them out he is now the best sleeper.

(((HUGS))) Sorry hun. I have no advice. Mattie didn't SLTN til she was 2.5 and Cole has for quite some time. Not sure what I've done differently.

Do you know why he is not sleeping? Does he wake up thirsty or have any reasons for crying out for you? Does he just want cuddle time? Is he scared of something? Have you tried giving him a pillow?

yes, what she said! Sam has always been a horrible sleeper. Just like J! Even now, he still wakes up and comes to my bed in the middle of the night but ever since having his tonsils and adenoids out, he at least sleeps, wakes up to come to my bed and sleeps. We don't have the constant waking and tossing and turning all night long anymore. (((((HUGS))))) I don't know how you've managed 18 months! I moved Sam to a twin around 15 months just so I could sleep with him. It was the only way I slept.

I wish I could offer you some help, but I thank my lucky stars every day Ryan sleeps thru the night right now. He still hasn't gotten it down perfectly yet.

I'm sorry Chris!!
I'm back in the club - Nicholas hasn't slept thru the night for the last 2 months and its getting really old!! First it was his molars coming in, then that weird virus, now I think its habit. He'll sleep 2 hrs or so then about when we're heading to bed, he's up again and refuses to go back to bed. And me being purely selfish and trying to get some sleep - takes him to the guest room and we both pass out and start over at 5a! :( Its a really bad habit we've gotten into but I don't know how to change it...

Chris, has his ped ruled out fluid in his ears? Not necessarily infections but could he have fluid build up and maybe need tubes? Maybe there is a lot of pressure in his ears and laying down makes it worse.
Sorry, mama! Wish I had answers. Just throwing another thought out there.
