How does one strip diapers? I've read a couple ways. One with soap. One without soap. One using baking soda and then vinegar. Mine need it BAD. Please help. They are stinky.
Cold water? Hot water? 5 rinses? 10 rinses? 20?
I was doing good there for a while. I think changing detergent really messed them up.

I'm in the process of stripping all of mine. I wash in hot water with a few squirts of regular blue Dawn (not the ultra), followed by 2 rinses.

Are you getting an ammonia smell? If so, I've also read to boil your diapers (if they are prefolds).

I think my problem is I have an HE washer. Thanks for the link. I've seen a bunch of different ways. I was just wondering what you guys did.

I just use the hot wash cycle with a squirt of dawn and baking soda and keep doing it until all the bubbles are gone. Some days its been known to take all day long to get them stripped!
