Has anyone had their DH test for infertility? What about yourself?

David has had 2 SA and I have had many blood tests and ultrasounds. I have had a HSG and it showed one of my tubes was blocked. My RE went in to unblock my tube and clean out my uterus. My tubes were fine and I had some stuff in my uterus.

We have had extensive testing done, from pelvic exams, bloodwork and S/A's, very invasive for me but not so much for dh, and i have more on the cards if we dont get pregnant in the next 3 months :sigh:

The dr actually suggested a post coital sperm analysis and a few others before they did a bunch of testing on me. The testing with men is a lot less invasive but talking some guys into doing it is a whole other thing.

DH has been tested, and I'm in the process of being tested. I started seeing an RE last month, and he did an ultra sound and has ran several tests, and he is thinking I have PCOS. I still have some more tests to do though.

Neither of us has had any formal testing we want to get the SA for him but waiting to get insurance straight. I've done the FSH test at home and those have come back normal. I seem to ovulate everymonth and I always get a period so I'm pretty sure I don't have PCOS or anything like. Insurance ran out right before our 1 year mark so we couldn't get any test :( Hopfully soon we will be able to do all of it

For your info - Just because you get a period every month, doesn't mean you ovulate every month.

I know that, That's why I said "I seem to". Plus I get the pain and I get + OPKs and I also know that that doesn't mean I absoluty do every month but they are good indicaters. I've only had 1 month where I am sure I didnot ovulate. Also, Like I said I havn't had any formal testing so I'm not 100% sure of anything going on with me.

I understand now. Thanks for sharing your other indications of ovulation with me. This will help other women who might read this after us and not be so well informed on ovulation.
