So i went to back to school night last night. and i saw a lady there with her tiny baby (young enough that she was yelling at her older one that she needed to go feed her in the car i'm thinking maybe 2 months if that) anyways the mom was carrying her around in her carseat. NOT BUCKLED not only was she not buckled but the freaking straps were removed!!!!!
it took everything for me not to go off on her

Eek! My mom told me a story about seeing a baby fly out of a stroller once becuase the baby wasn't strapped in. That was enough to scare me from ever leaving a baby unstrapped.

oh it kills me as it is to see the baby that watch . well her mom doesnt have the base to her infant seat even in there car and the straps are all crooked and everything and she just buckles her in and doesnt fix the straps or anything and isnt even using the base that came with the carseat.. i mean hello ! i know you dont have to but im so paranoid when it comes to carseat safety i mean kaylor is only 10 months old ..

this lady pulled up to Ella's school to drop off her little girl (maybe between 5 and 7 years old.) and the little girl was on her mom's lap in the drivers seat helping to steer the car! I couldn't believe it. People are stupid.

Plus, when i picked Ella up the other day in the carpool lane the teacher asked me "front seat or back?" Um Back. IN her booster thanks! Ahhhh, Idiots. I think i'm going to have to have a talk with the principal.

but ya know when siomething happens to THEM or there CHILD maybe then they will think twice about carseat safety i just would hate to see something happen to make them think twice bout carseat safety .. wanna know what made me think twice, it was the video of that little boy that got killed that was sitting in a booster seat, kyle david miller video that was it.. that was what made me think twice about my kids safetly.. i ended up moving leona back into a 5 point harness at 4 years old.. she just recently moved to a booster seat.. and my sons till in a 5 point harness and will stay that way til he breaks his seat..LOL

oh ive seen that i wanted to pass it on to my sister in law. because her son, my nephew is 3 years old in november and my son is 3 months older than him and still in a 5 point harness BUT he is in a booster seat... he is way over the weight limit than my daughter and she is 5 years old and he is only 2 1/2 years old BUT i told her there are 5 point harness seats out there that can fit a child that big of weight .. but she just rolled her eyes and said i bet there expensive and i dont want to pay loads of money for a 5 point harness that he wont be in long im sure.. so she has him in a booster seat and he is only 2 1/2 years old and around 40lbs. or more .. he is a big BOY if you see my brother you would see where he gets his size from for only being 2

wow!! People are so stupid!! We know some people with a little girl who is 2 months older than BRIAN and she has NEVER rode in a carseat... why do people think they and thier kids are untouchable??? UGH
