I really need some advice! I REALLY REALLY have been wanting to switch to G-Diapers with Brian. I had planned to use to disposable liners at night and when we are away from home and the cloth inserts during the day when I was home to work with them. I have been debating this for MONTHS... and shipping was playing a HUGE part in my decision to wait it out... WELL I found a new store local.... that carries the G-Diapers... I was sooooo excited. Well Justin and I just recently switched to 7th Generation (From the same store) and they were $5.99 for a pack of 32... so my cheaper point didn't go far... because the G-diaper disposable liners are $15 something for maybe 32? or was it 52? LOL either way... DH doesn't think it will be cheaper... and he said the thought of cloth repulses him. When I threw out the greener factor he compared them to the 7th generation, which are about the same... I am at my whit's end.. I WANT the G diapers... bottom line. But he wont have it.... any suggestions? I thought about just doing it anyway... but I wanted his support... KWIM?

I would go for it. I want to use g diapers and would if i could afford it. You never know, maybe your hubby will like them after seeing how well they work.

I think it would be cheaper to do the cloth inserts too. And, use the cloth when DH isn't around. Then he can't get grossed out.

They gDiapers would be greener because the inserts are flushable and compostable. Seventh Generation are just chlorine free. They aren't compostable. So thy would sit in a landfill with all the rest of the disposable diapers.

gotcha sarah =) I am trying my darnest... but he is NOT budging. I am really thinking of doing them while he's gone... lol and using the 7th generations while he's home (we have 3 bags to use either way) And then when I am out of the 7th generations... say... well we've been using the Gdiapers for ---- amount of time and you've never noticed sooo there... lol.... =)
