Since we last "talked" i had some really bad news....remember i told you that dh was taking injections for 6 weeks to up his sperm count. He already had average of 24 million per ml so it was good but but motility and morphology was low so doc said to try these. veerryyy expensive 700 euros (around 600 sterling i think) and we did another sperm test after thinking they'll be 50 or 60 million (like doc said) well they went down to 3 million,yes 3!!
We were soooo shocked that i went histerical screaming and crying all over the house (thank god dd was at school) and dh said nothing and with a single tear in his eye..
Obviously we went to the doc appointment after 2 days and demanded an explenation..he said (with a smile) "oh these things happen) What??!!! He never said they won't work let alone work in reverse! If i knew the risks i never would have spent so much and did this thing. I would have waited a few more months and opted for a different treatment like iui.
Well another thing he said don't bother trying for the next 4 months cause it won't happen till around 6 months more for sure..I wanted to kill him! In Malta he's known as the best gynae and infertility specialist!!
I stormed out of the clinic,didn't pay and went to my mum's and demanded a glass of wine for dh. I don't drink and when i read in april that alcohol decreases sperm i told him to stop drinking. He only used to take around a glass a week and he stopped completely...well now we have to wait it out,at least till February for sure and do another test and change doc. We'll see the result then...
So for now i'm laying low on all boards. I can't take it :(
