Anyone dealt with this? DS is 15 months & has bad seperation anxiety at bedtime. He is usually fine other times of the day if I have to leave him, but bedtime is bad & some nights are worse than others.

not really. some nights one will scream until i hold them but its not too often and the only reason i get them is so the other can sleep

I've got that problem too-if I let DS scream too long, DD wakes up. One night she woke up, sat up in her bed, and said " Andy hush!!!" *& went back to sleep.

Ugh, we have a split bedroom plan, so DS & DD are on the same side of the house but not same rooms. But DD has to have her door open at night so that's why he wakes her up.

We definitely have that problem. Sometimes it is more of a problem than others though. I think the cause and solution to our situation is the same. Brody sleeps with us so he's used to us being there and since he sleeps with us, its not too much of a problem...unless I need to go to the bathroom before he is completely asleep.

Andy has never slept with us. But suddenly he doesn't want to leave me at bedtime. Used to he would get right in his crib-I would almost drop him because he was trying to get in his crib by falling backwards out of my arms. Now, he wants to sit & rock. He points at the rocking chair instead of the bed & holds tight to my arms if I say naything about the bed!

Braden has bad seperation anxiety at bedtime too. But he does all the time. He has to go to sleep in our bed though because I just can't handle the screaming... and it doesn't stop. I (and it has to be me) lay down with him until he is asleep and then when we go to bed... I put him in his bed. Or sometimes I rock him and he'll fall asleep. Then I can just put him in his bed.

I've just been letting him cry. For some reason, it breaks my heart.
