Braden was sleeping soooo well. But for over a month now he just doesn't seem to think he needs to anymore. And this last week has been ridiculous. It's 1:20 and I'm on here when I went to bed at 10:00. Last night he was asleep by 6:40 because he was so tired from being up all the night before. He usually goes to bed at 8:00 unless he only has one nap... then he goes to bed earlier. I haven't been feeding him the night or anything until this week when I don't know what else to do. Right now... he's playing because I just don't know what else to do. He'll scream and scream and scream and doesn't give up. I've tried giving him just one nap during the day... doesn't help. I've tried feeding him when he wakes up... doesn't work. I've tried putting him in bed with us... which used to work.. but doesn't work. I am at a loss. Maybe I should let him scream for 2 hours but I just can't do it. But I am sooo tired!

He is teething... I know that. I've given him motrin, teething tabs, tylenol, and teething gel as much as allowed... doesn't work.

I know this might sound odd, but have you tried putting him to bed later? Do you get him up in the morning or do you let him sleep until he wakes up naturally? :)

Does he nap good during the day? Im having issues with my daughter and all the drs keep saying its cuz shes not napping well during the day... which didnt make any sense at first.... They need sleep to sleep well.... apparently... because if they arent sleeping well then they get overtired and sleep is all messed up.....

We're working on it too and I hope you can get some much needed shut eye for both you and your little one....

 I think we've all been there and it sucks!! Definitely try, as much as possible, to keep lighting low, toys put away, very little attention from you (directly talking to and interacting with him), etc when he wakes at night so he knows that its time to sleep and not playtime, otherwise he will start waking up to play every night!

It seems to be a vicious cycle with Nicholas - he doesn't sleep well at night then ends up sleeping later and then isn't tired when it comes to nap time. Then he's cranky all evening and either naps late or not at all, so he's up later and overtired and won't go to bed, starting it all over again. That's where we are right now, so I don't have much advice to offer...hope you can get him back to sleeping soon!!

Also weve started making sure the bedtime routine is on time and teh same everynight.... so when bath time rolls around Emma knows its time to start winding down (well I hope she knows)

I know this might sound odd, but have you tried putting him to bed later? Do you get him up in the morning or do you let him sleep until he wakes up naturally? I have put him to bed later and it doesn't seem to make any difference. Also he wakes up naturally in the morning... usually around 7:00-7:30.

Does he nap good during the day? Im having issues with my daughter and all the drs keep saying its cuz shes not napping well during the day... which didnt make any sense at first.... They need sleep to sleep well.... apparently... because if they arent sleeping well then they get overtired and sleep is all messed up..... He usually takes 2 naps during the day still. They are at least 1 hour long if not longer. Sometimes he'll only take 1 nap because it's around 12-1 and when he does.. it usually lasts 2 1/2 to 3 hours. It sounds like we might have to ride it out. Thanks for your ideas ladies.

He only woke up once last night. He was up for 1 1/2 hours as I was trying to get him to sleep and all he wanted was some milk. I finally gave in and he went right back to sleep. Stinker. Then he woke up at 6:00 though. But it is definately better so I'll take it.

I sooooooo know how you feel! My daughter use to be a GREAT sleeper! Usually 12hrs at a time! This past month has been HORRIBLE!!! She wakes up screaming every few hours. I just don't get it. She'll be 2 next month and I'm pretty sure she has all of her teeth IDK. I hope things get better for you.
