PCOS and ovulation

Most of you know that the doctors just recently diagnosed me with PCOS. This led me to randomly check my LH levels with an ovulation test. For the past two days I have received a positive on the tests. So dh and I have been having us lots of FUN! :LOL: Has anyone else been diagnosed with PCOS and tried the ovulation tests out and had success? I am not wanting to get my hopes up...but I just keep wondering if it will work.

I was diagnosed with pcos about two years ago and although I have not used the ovulation test I have heard from a friend of mine that tried it after she was diagnosed and she got pregnant but miscarried. Are you taking any medications cause my doctor told me that the first step was regulation which involves medication?
