So I had my FSH and prolactin levels drawn yesterday (left arm). Today I fasted and had my TWO hour glucose tolerance test done. This test required three blood draws: fasting baseline, 1 hour after ingesting this extremely sugary sunkist tasting orange drink, and then two hours after drinking it. So between the two days, the blood draws go in the following order: left arm, left arm, right arm, and left arm. Both of my arms are feeling like at any minute now they are going to fall off from being so tender.
After the test is over, the lab tech tells me, "you won't have to have this done again, unless the results are wacky, or you get pregnant!" <----If I get pregnant, now I should rethink this whole idea........alright, I am still headstrong.....I will get pregnant!
Just thought I would let you all know how my day has gone so far! Thanks for listening/reading! :D

I hope you get great results!
I have a bruise on my arm from my last OB appt. I have about 10 weeks or so until the glucose test.

I think the sticking in the arms wouldn't be that bad, if it wasn't left, right, left....one stick in a arm filling all the tubes of blood is okay.

they probably could...but I heard that hurts more, and my veins are better in my arms!

jeez that's a lot of blood. yuck. They'd have trouble getting all that from myself I've been told I'm a 'hard stick'
Good luck with the results.

well the dr. called me and told me that I am NOT diabetic! (I told her I didn't think I was, but she insisted I did the test anyhow!) I will get my prolactin and FSH results back when I have my next u/s on May 4th.
Thanks for asking...I can't believe I forgot to update!
