You won't believe what I saw yesterday!

Most of you know I work in a bank. And I do quite a bit of work for the drive thru customers. Yesterday this lady came through the drive thru with an infant, which I'm sure was under a year old, in the rear facing infant car seat...but the car seat WAS NOT rear facing! And the baby was rocking the car seat, so you knew damn well that the car seat was not tightly strapped in. I almost died when I saw that. How dangerous is that?

Thought that would be a good one to share with our car seat nazi's.

No, I didn't actually wait on that client, I just saw it out the corner of my eye. I said something to the girl working the drive thru, but she doesn't have kids, so she wouldn't know the importance. I was with someone else at the time. But I mean, come on!

Wow, that's so sad how STUPID some people are!! DH tells me horror stories about what he sees every day at work with carseats either not installed or kids not buckled, etc as well and it makes us both sick!

Some people! You shouldnt be allowed to leave a hosp without carseat knowledge! I always check my carseats cause my future sil put ethans toddler one in her car and im like i better check it and it was just buckled in and not tight at all! DH also didnt put it right in my car the other day. I had to tell sil the buckle has to be near the armpits on her newborn and she has it way down next to the buckle. Just bugs me and i told her yesterday.

It is ridiculous i say. I was at a drive up window once and saw a child not over the age of three standing in the backseat un buckled and she had just drove up i was like what the hell. If her window was down i would have told her a thing or two but she wasnt even paying attention

i dont know whats worse seeing that or seeing a bunch of young kids ridding on the back of a pickup going down the highway. well i cant say much cause my parents let me and my cousins but it scares me to death to see that now

Oh I would have about died if that were me. Im a total car seat nazi. While out yesterday I saw a mom put her baby who looked to be about 13-14 lbs forward facing, I had to bite my tongue, and remind myself its NOT MY BUSINESS...
