I am new here and looking for info.I just found out I was pregnant on June 6 and have been having lower abd. discomfort.Not pain!Is this normal?Has anyone else had this?Going nuts here.This is pregnancy #8 with 3 little girls and I just can't seem to remember.

Sounds normal to me.. just little tight feelings? Like the uterus is starting to stretch out again... I forget what they call them here..

Oh man, did I ever have lower abdominal discomfort then! If it wasn't the uterus getting stretched, it was my pubic bone. If it wasn't that, it was cramps. :) If it's not terribly uncomfortable, it's probably not a problem. But I know that my OB's nurses were extremely understanding when I called them, so if it's something that's worrying you, I'll bet you could get some good feedback at your OB's office.

I remember that about 10 weeks, the doctor said it was everything stretching and repositioning. Although I'm sure there was a more medical term for what she said lol

Congrats!! I'd definitely call your OB for reassurance if necessary but its probabaly just all the changes with your body due to the new pregnancy!

As long as there is no bleeding or spotting or anything I would say it is totally normal hon! Congrats

Congrats, sounds normal to me...don't be afraid to contact a doctor though!

Saw the dr today and I am going for blood work to check the levels and my progestrone level.Of course now I am nervous.First test is friday and then monday.

did you say 8 pregnancies? I have had 6 pregnancies that I know of 2 ended in misscarriages and my last was a VERY crampy pregnancy =) Just like what you are describing

Yeap this is the #8. 1 etopic and 3 miscarriages and 3 healty baby girls.Last miscarriage was feb 10.hubby and I said that if we weren't pregnant by June then we were done.So we are very excited but of course so nervous.I must say though so far the only thing is the lower abd discomfort and its more like a heaviness.Morning sickness kicked in yesterday.And I am sooooo tired.I am hoping the beta checks will help me relax mind you I won't get them until next wednesday.
