i know my mil looked at them and she didnt want to attempt and she's good with sewing so i wont be attempting anytime soon lol

They usually have a waterproof layer in them, or the whole outside is waterproof.

Hmmm..I don't do cloth diapering, but cloth pull ups sounds like a good idea, DD only uses one at night and I think I could handle that for her.

http://allaboutclothdiapers.com/most-popular-cloth-trainers/ I used FishSticks and jam. I bought my own cloth and inner so it was cheaper then listed but you can buy the pattern or you can have her make them. She is a great WHAM and will work with you.

Bonnie is super-duper nice. That is the pattern that I have, but the legs don't quite fit my guy. You can buy the pattern here (http://hyenacart.com/FishsticksDesigns/index.php?c=11&p=27850)

thanks guys! I had gotten a pattern off etsy but my sewing machine is broken. Plus he isnt really showing anymore signs of wanting to be potty trained .
